Traveling by your own vehicle is often the most direct and convenient option for a weekend getaway.

The Route: Your best friend is the NH- (Grand Trunk Road). This highway offers excellent connectivity and typically the fastest drive time.

  1. Head North on NH- past the Delhi border.

  2. Continue straight towards Chandigarh until you see Exit No 10.

  3. Take the designated service road exit for your final stretch. (We’ve deliberately chosen a quiet location just minutes off the main highway to ensure peace without sacrificing access). By Metro and Railways

While not direct, a combination of metro and local transport is an economical option for solo travelers or small groups.

Delhi Metro (Recommended)

  • Final Metro Stop: Take the Yellow Line to one of the northernmost stations, such as Samaypur Badli or Jahangirpuri.

  • Onward Journey: From the metro station, the remaining -minute journey must be completed via a local cab (ride share). Fares are negotiable, so agree on the price before starting.

Indian Railways

  • Station: The nearest major station is Sonipat Railway Station (SNP).

  • Onward Journey: From the station, you are approximately minutes from the homestay by auto or cab.

By Public Buses

If you are someone who loves traveling by buses, you can get to the ISBT Kashmere Gate in New Delhi. Look for buses heading towards Sonipat, Panipat, Chandigarh, or any route going North on NH-. Ideally you would want to get off at Bahalgarh stop, alternatively, your next best stop is Murthal.

If you get off at Bahalgarh stop, you can take a sharing auto and get to our homestay (onward journey). Whereas, if you get off at Murthal, you would need to trace back 2-3 kms of your path in the direction towards Delhi to get to our homestay.
